I have the privilege of calling Lady Ashley my Nana. Although I don't remember much, there is one thing I do remember, and that is that she is a woman of prayer. In my early years, my mom wasn't in a good place, but she would always tell me about how my nana took care of me and covered me while my mom was going through her cycles of addiction. As I got old enough to understand, my mom would tell me different stories about how my Nana, Lady Ashley, was a prayer warrior. One time in particular, my mom told me about how there was an earthquake, and my Nana walked through the house anointing the walls while everything was shaking, as though the house had not been touched at all. I know that sounds outlandish, but the calmness she described amid that earthquake is the same calmness I experience whenever I'm in her presence. It's the same calmness I experience when I go to her for advice and the same kind of calmness I know that she is actually praying for me when I make my request. She is truly a Godsend. I cannot imagine where I would have ended up if it had not been for her being a voice of reason in our lives.

Ashley is a caring woman of God that has the best interest in heart for all women. She is an inspiration to many and blessed my life for being a true sister that encouraged and prayed with me many times.
